How does evaporative cooling work?

Individual units draw hot air from the outside, which, once filtered, passes through honeycomb evaporative panels saturated with water.

The air, pushed by the fan, releases some of its heat to the water contained in the evaporative pads, thereby lowering its temperature by 5 – 10 °C.

The cooled air is then released into the working environment at more comfortable temperatures.
