The first stadium in Russia with radiant heating for the stands!
The objective was to achieve uniform heating of the stands, allowing spectators to watch their favorite team's matches in a comfortable environment regardless of the weather conditions.
Client
The Krasnodar stadium in Russia features 34,291 seats, 3,197 of which are VIP, and was inaugurated in 2016. The stadium stands are fully covered. The field was designed exclusively for football matches; therefore, the lowest seats are located right next to the pitch.
Requirements
The builders' objective was to uniformly heat the stands, allowing spectators to watch their favorite team's matches in a comfortable environment in all weather conditions. A system was required that would not compromise the stadium's architectural style and that would operate on LPG, as the city gas network could not provide the necessary flow rate.
The proposed solution
The design and installation work was carried out by the company LLC “Promjenergogaz,” which, with this project, implemented one of the first LPG stadium heating systems in the world.
To maintain a high-profile architectural and aesthetic style, both inside and outside the stadium, all electrical conduits under the stadium roof were enclosed in a membrane, and the heaters were housed in special ventilated compartments developed by the company JSC “Kurganstalmost”.
Based on the client's requests and in collaboration with the various companies involved, we successfully provided a heating system consisting of 168 Euceramic radiant heaters of various models, featuring a computerized control system developed by Carlieuklima.
