Forno Da Re needed to cool its production departments, which became very hot during the summer, leading personnel to interrupt their work with frequent breaks to avoid the risk of heatstroke.
A manufacturer of crisp bread snacks and various types of breadsticks, the company is highly focused on corporate sustainability, the materials used, and the psychophysical well-being of its people. The company has always been committed to the continuous improvement of the working conditions of its resources, so much so that over time it has gradually implemented effective and eco-friendly solutions within the plant, allowing staff to carry out their activities in a healthy and comfortable environment, both in winter and during the hottest season.
The client needed to cool the production departments where the dough takes shape and the breadsticks are manually stretched.
We proposed an adiabatic cooling system consisting of 1 model 532 cooler with side air outlet and a custom-designed micro-perforated fabric ducting to cool the environment uniformly, without the risk of drafts that could bother the people inside.
The first intervention involved cooling an area of 220 m² with a height of 6.70 m. The system was installed at a height of 4.40 m using a micro-perforated duct diffusion system to better distribute the air introduced into the room, which is then exhausted through side windows and the openable skylight.
The second intervention was carried out on an area of 235 m² with a height of 6.70 m. The system was also installed at 4.40 m, with air distributed through micro-perforated ducting identical to the previous one.
The work areas are pleasant and the temperature has dropped from 35 to 28 degrees.
Employees no longer risk heatstroke and do not require frequent breaks.
The staff works peacefully, without experiencing excessive tiredness and fatigue
Industrial evaporative coolers are the most natural, effective, and economical technological solution for the summer cooling of industrial warehouses, storage facilities, commercial environments, laboratories, and workshops.
