For the French production facility in Montoir de Bretagne, dedicated to the manufacture of wind power components and systems, the company required a new, effective heating system capable of quickly heating the entire plant.
The proposed solution
Exeltec, our partner for France, proposed the installation of EUCERK radiant strips to Alstom for heating the new building in Brittany.
This solution was accepted by ALSTOM not only for the exceptional performance offered in terms of efficiency and comfort, but also because the outdoor units were positioned on the roof (easy access for maintenance).
Furthermore, the aesthetics of the radiant strips blend in well with the building's unique architecture.
The system consists of 10 EUCERK radiant strips, with power outputs ranging from 180 to 240 kW, for a total heated area of 15,500 m² and a mounting height between 15 m and 17 m depending on the area.
The entire system is managed and controlled by a computerized supervision system that allows the temperature to be adjusted at any time in the various work zones.

The heat is homogeneous and diffused, with no air movement and no shadow effect, ensuring a healthy workplace.
